MIP PROCESS EQUIPMENT is an industrial metalworks founded as ltd. as a part of MIP Holding Company from Cuprija, Serbia.
MIP grew out of the Zokil company founded in 1954. in Cuprija, originally as Department for Repairing Cars and Locomotions, as a part of the Railwey company. The company went trough many transformations and reorganizations and changed its name into MIP Cuprija. It was divided into smaller companyes and out of one of them, Hidrofok company yrew the MIP Process Equipment Company, Public Corporation and later was transformed into a holding company under its current name. To 2001 inclusive MIP Process Equipment has 143 employees.

The production programme of MIP takes the products and equipment for oil, chemical and food industry, energetic plants, compressor systems and equipment for storing gaseons, liquid and powdery materials. The basic products are:
- Bottoms of all shapes and dimensions up to 4000 mm in diameter and 22 mm thicks.
- Tanks for all kinds of liquid fuels for underground and ground instalation with an without the heater.
- Compressor containers of all kinds and purposes.
- The other products of metal works.

The products are characterized by actuality, the use of new projects sollutions, the technology guaranteed by weel and adeqnately quallified personnel and equipment and machines. The tests run by the most distinduished authorized institutions show that MIP Process Equipment meet all the demands and has the necessary welding work, production and control of compression containers.

As a manufacteuor of compression containers MIP Process Equipment has certificates, documents and tests from Yugoslav and foreing institutions, such as:
- TÜV (Technischer Überwachungs-Vereim Bayern)
- Welding institute Belgrade
- Yugoslav railway
- Yugoslav ship register
- Steam Boilers Inspection
